Map your world

Sketch of my room

I taught black and white gives it more of a sketch feel~~~

My world is in my room... HAHAHAHAHHA..... Well, the rest of the world is all over... but my room is like being in my own world my own personal space... I can do anything i want or wish to do and NOBODY CAN STOP ME! unless they see me doing something T.T I once got caught eating in my room which i was not suppose to do cause i will just lure insects in...  Anyways, in my world all i want is peace and quiet to rest. Thankfully i am very lucky to have my own room><

What are you? part 2? BAD CONCEPTUAL MODEL

the pictures above are a conceptual model that i made yesterday... It was suppose to represent my partner's personality... The lecturer din't really like it. T.T cause it din't really have a certain form and it doesn't suit the concept that i chose... But never the less, i think the problem is that it represents me more as compared to my partner... I won't explain why cause i do not know how to explain and if i did it would be very personal =D so... guess from the pictures and maybe you can see abit of me inside><
PS. My partner is Mohsen.. I can't see him there ><

ASSIGNMENT/ PROJECT 1 (OBJECT IS *mysterious music* SHOES)

By: Manstanue, Sana, Enny & Yansen =D
Mr. Charles gave us an unusual assignment/ project to come out with something weird on a certain object of our choice... Not every idea worked out and we spend hours thinking of PLAN B but eventually everything turned out awesome as a sudden idea pop-ed up in other words "a poetic possibility" pop-ed up. I truthfully have no idea if it was creative enough or even creative but we all tried our best =D Juggling assignments after assignments... At the end of the day, we had loads of fun and bonding time=D

Out of the BOX

What is the first thing you think of when someone says think out of the box?!?  Well, when someone says that the first thing that would pop into my mind is to think of something weird that a normal human won't usually think of. LOL

ok... so i took a picture of myself and my dad >< i know weird.... it's me and my dad trying to get out of the picture which is a shape of a square as the "box"or the door representing a box. But there's always something pulling you back which is also yourself pulling you back... so yes that is my own hand pulling my hair -.-' weird!!!! ok nvm. Conclusion is you have to learn to let go of yourself and your mind and more ideas will come because you are not trying to restrict yourself

PS: I love my dad <3

Poetic Possibilities

OK... ONLY TRY THIS AT HOME ><
This is the weirdest thing that i did in my life... so don laugh at me pls T.T
To me, poetic possibilities are something really beautifully done or made or how it makes u feel... example this printing. It makes me feel relaxed and i admire the skills that this artist have cause even if i try to paint that i won't be able to... and even if i was able to do that, i still won't be able to do that with my feet or mouth T.T so poetic possibilities mean that something impossible for me to do beautifully is done and has became possible.

This painting is painted by an artist that has Multiple sclerosis. For more inspirational stories from them pls check out this site =D
http://www.msrc.co.uk/index.cfm/fuseaction/show/pageid=2790
So the artist of this painting is Alan Wells and he painted this with his mouth...

so the funny thing is that i tried to draw with my foot T.T i din't have any painting tools or colours so i used colour pencils and my foot cause i don't want to bite my younger brother's colour pencils and make awedul marks on them><
So this is my result

My first very own foot drawing masterpiece

It looks horrible doesn't it ... believe it or not i spend half an hour doing that -.-' maybe i was trying to learn how to control my foot LOL. ok... but this experience really changed my perspective in abilities... Before this i look at this drawing and nvr thought of the hard work put into it... now i admire them =) i wonder how much work and effort they put into that one painting...

I also figured out how to draw in an easier manner >< look at the picture on your right... look at my disgusting toes and how it is wrapped around the colour pencil...I had more control when i used that way. i hope the colour pencil doesn't smell ><

I hope this makes sense><

Mythology - The eight immortals

This is my favorite story when i was young. My granddad use to tell me this story and bought a book about it for my family and til today i have it with me >< Their story is called the eight immortals cross the sea. But that story is not very interesting... But the story of how they became immortals are meaningful...

This story was written during the opium war...

one of their life stories><
TieGuai Li story =D
TieGuai is from a very poor family, in one year there was a drought and his father killed himself.... so he decided to beg for food. one day he noticed someone left their carrots outside the house and he decided to steal it. Seeing his mother so happy with more food he decided to steal because it was easier. one night when  he was trying to steal a work, a figure (some Taoist god) appeared in front of him asking him to return the wok for a family without a wok cannot survive as they cannot boil water. Scared, TieGuai asked for mercy as his mother is blind and they have not eaten in 3 days. the figure sees that he is a filial son after all and said return the wok and look for me for i will provide help in some way... after TieGui returned the wok he realized that  the figure has super-natural powers as he turned the sky dark for him to return the wok unnoticed he then went to find the figure and the figure gave him a gourd that contains efficacious medicine for worldly illnesses. TieGuai went around curing ppl and eventually he went to live in a cave to practice the Tao. One day, Laozi and Master Wan Qiu visited him and revealed to him the highest Taoist teachings. After he had mastered the quintessence of Taoism, he accept a disciple named Lang Ling. One day he has to go to Huashan to meet Laozi. So he made his soul leave his body and asked Lang Ling  to take good care of his body and if he doesn't return in 7 days he is to cremate his body. But on the 6th day, Lang Ling's mother was seriously ill and he was a filial son so he cremated his masters body and wen to take care of his mother.. When TieGuai returned he could not find his body. While wondering what to do, he spotted a corpse of a person who had just died and decided to enter the body. But then he only found out that the body was ugly, old and lame. TieGuai tried to get out of the body but the figure appeared and stopped him saying that the action of Tao is not dependent on appearances and gave him an iron crutch to help him move around.Since then TieGuai roamed around everywhere to help the sick and became one of the eight immortals.

There are lots of lessons to be learnt from their life stories and more.

REPRESENTATIONS:
They represent all kinds of people—old, young, male, female, civil, military, rich, poor, afflicted, cultured, noble. They are also representative of early, middle, and later historical periods.Zhang Guolao's drum can augur life. Lu Dongbin's sword can subdue the evil. Han Xingzi's flute can cause growth. He Xiangu's Water Lily can cultivate people through meditation. Tie Guai's gourd can help the needy and relieve the distressed. Zhong Liquan's fan can bring the dead back to life. Cao Guojiu's jade board can purify the environment. Lan Caihe's basket of flowers can communicate with gods.
The Eight Immortals are the gods who punish evildoers and encourage people to do good, help those in distress and aid those in peril.

ZUANG GUOLAO ( CHANG KUO-LAO ) He is represented as an Old Man riding a donkey. (Sometimes Backwards) He is usually carrying two drumsticks. Legend has it that at the end of his journeys, he could fold up his donkey like a piece of paper and store him in his wallet. When he was ready to travel again he would sprinkle water on his wallet and the Donkey would reappear.

His spirit would frequently leave his body to wander the land and heavens. One day his body was found and thought to be dead. It was burned, as was traditional. When he returned from his journey to find his body gone, he entered the first body he found...that of a lame beggar.

LU DONG-BIN ( LU TUNG-PIN ) Upon his back he wears a magic sword used to slay dragons and demons. In his hand he carries a fly brush. He is said to have traveled the earth for over 400 years slaying dragons.

CAO GUO-JUI ( TS'AO KUO-CHIU ) The finest dressed of the Eight Immortals. He is always shown wearing formal court dress and carrying castinets.

PS: sry if i wrote too much i summarized the story T.T took me an hour to do this assignment =D had fun =D love this legend>< by the way, nobody knows if LAN CAI-HE is a male or a female

DOODLING

TRYING TO DOODLE T.T

On the 1st of October or the 2nd >< i don remember...
The whole class drew on a piece of paper while listening to songs~~~ so in short we drew how we felt >< another way of creating ideas =D Not in order =D

Metamophosis

So~~~ This is my Introduction to Interior Design Projects Assignment. We had to design a bridge>< we analysed the site, made a concept for the bridge which is motion, then drew 20 pages worth of process which i don want to take pictures of everything T.T so i took picture of one in case you don't know what i'm talking bout.

First Conceptional model (Floor plan)
First conceptional model (side elevation)
Then my group and i did 3 conceptional models based on the 3 best ideas we have =D

2nd conceptional model (Floor Plan)

2nd Conceptional model (Front elevation)

3rd Conceptional Model (Floor plan)

3rd Conceptional Model ( Front elevation)

3rd conceptional model (side elevation )

After that, we had to come out with a design for the bridge~~~ So with the ideas from the conceptional models we did a mock model =D
Mock Model (Floor Plan)

Mock Model (Front Elevation )
Mock Model ( dunno what elevation)

Currently, we are trying to make the actual model so i don have any pictures but will update it soon?!?

Conclusion, From nothing but just very random ideas we are able to develop it to something unique, cool, awesome and something i never thought i can accomplish =D hopefully in the future i can take an empty room and turn it into something nice and awesome something ppl can admire =D
